Our shop in St Michael’s Trading Estate

Established in 1978, Wessex Wines has been supplying fine wine in and around Bridport for more than forty years. Now under new family ownership and with a new name, the shop still offers the same excellent value , wide selection and authentic experience. We keep over 300 varieties in stock, each personally chosen and carefully sourced. We live by the motto “Do one thing well”, so we keep our offering almost exclusively grape-based and in addition to wine, we stock organic beers, sherry, Port, vin santo and other after-dinner drops.

We are proud to be part of Bridport’s thriving art and vintage quarter. Historically listed, Unit 88 on St Michael’s Trading estate was a ropewalk in its past life. Where once its length was used for twisting fibre, it now makes a perfect cellar.
